Upgrading from sp1, to sp2

I did a "repair Installation" because something went out of wack. When i did
so, it took me back to SP1. I then installed all the updates, and when i
tried to install sp2, it freezes when trying to isntall my geforce 6800
drivers.

what's going on?

Try removing the Nvidia drivers, reboot and install SP2, then reinstall the
Nvidia drivers. By the way, you could have saved yourself allot of work by
installing SP2 immediately after the repair, rather than installing updates
after the repair, then SP2.

Or for next time, create your own bootable XP SP2 CD.

Google for <slipstream, SP2> and you'll find lots of folks telling you
how to take your original XP CD and the SP2 upgrade file and make a
bootable XP SP2 CD.

well, the problem is that when i boot up it trys to continue updating, and
goes back to that same spot and gets stuck again. i never get into windows,
because its stuck trying to reinstall it.

I actually already tried that, and no when i boot into safe mode, it says
"update can not continue in safe mode, restarting to continue update" or
something along those lines.
