Upgrading from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003

I am just now upgrading from Office XP to Office 2003. My concern is for my
Outlook files. I see that the installer wants to uninstall Outlook 2002
before installing Outlook 2003. Is there anything I have to do so that all my
existing mail, contacts and email accounts migrate to Outlook 2003, or does
the installer take care of that automatically?
 
Normally, the installer migrates your data, but it always a good idea to
back it up anyway just in case. Most of the time an upgrade installation
works better if you create a Outlook new profile right away. The upgrade
routine in Outlook is poor.
