Upgrading from home premium to ultimate

Does anyone know what the cost of upgrading from Vista Home Premium to
Ultimate is?
I bought a new laptop and like it but need ultimate so I want to upgrade.
There is an upgrade CD that came with but they tell me if I open it I will
not be able to return the laptop
