upgrading from 98SE to XP PRO

i am installing the upgrade of xppro from 98 se and was
prompted to perform dynamic update. It is not moving past
the "downloading software" portion??

What shall i do ??

don't worry about the dynamic update. just go to
windowsupdate after you finish installing it. you'd have
to go there anyway for the absurd number of 'updates'
anyway

Make sure to update NIC driver and setup your Internet connection first
thing after installation.
