I have a nearly full 20 GB hard drive running XP Pro. I've got a 120 GB drive to replace it. Do I need to do a "repair" install, or will XP go easy on me if I simply use the standard file transfer software that new drives come with?

Are there any additional hoops I need to jump through to do this?

Thanks.

Use the drive copy utility that came with your new drive.
There should not be a necessity to perform a repair install.
