NOT A BEGINNER, BUT HAVE NOT REPACED A HARD DRIVE,FUST RE-FORMATTED AND
RE-INSTALLED.THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE PARTITIONED TO MAKE ALL SPACE
AVAIL.?RIGHT?HELP AND ADVICE PLEASE,

Kill the caps - its considered shouting
Boot from winxp cd and partition etc with that.
You may have to amend boot order in the bios to enable boot from cd.
Depending on your version of winxp you may have to enable 'bigLba'

Are you replacing the exisaing drive? If you are replacing it why do you
think you have to do that? If it works why not add the new drive as extra
space?
