Upgrade vs. Full

What are the benefits of the full retail win2k vs. the upgrade? I would
like to buy the full (NOT OEM) version of win 2k, but cannot find any good
deals or discounts, though I can find good deals for the upgrade and if that
is what I bought I could use my current OS that is in the upgrade path.
But... I was wondering would I be losing anything by going with the upgrade
over the full?

The only extra thing you have to do is to present the media for a qualifying
product during installation, or else upgrade an existing installation. A
fresh installation is almost always best.

Bear in mind that the upgrade version and the qualifying product become one
and cannot be split (i.e. you can't install your machine's original
operating system somewhere else).
