Upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium

I am using MS Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2.

Do you advise upgrading to Windows Vista Home Premium?

What percent of Vista Home Premium is:
Media Enhancement _____%
Security Improvement ____%
Basic Office Type Work Improvements _____%
Eliminating "Freeze Ups" and "Crashes" _____%

Is Vista more practical help?
Or, more media dazzle flare?

Please advise me.
Thank You,

depends what you mean by "security improvement" - some would say it's not
much more secure than XP.....do some googling....
Basic Office Type Work Improvements _____%

None at all - you still need MS Office or something similar.....
Eliminating "Freeze Ups" and "Crashes" _____%

Can't comment on that one....

I run three XP Pro machines. I won't go to Vista, at least in the short
term as the systems I have work really well, do all I want and I've
researched and studied XP (MCP 70-270). Also, the computers I have will not
maximise Vista's capabilities.

When I get a new computer, perhaps Vista then, but not until.

Ask yourself why you want to upgrade. Is there a specific feature that
Vista offers that you want to use? Read plenty of reviews, articles and
other people's experiences.

Don't do it!!! NOTHING WORKS!! None of the programs I love are compatable
with it, THEY get to decide which media files you should or shouldn't be
listening to/watching, and things fail on you after 2 days...I hate it.
