Upgrade to 4.9 has caused Banding in Doom 3 !!

Hi,

I've just upgraded to 4.9 and now have noticeable banding in Doom3!!
it wasn't there on 4.8, any suggestions?

Reinstall 4.8 ?

improvements.

Did you check to make sure the color depth has not defaulted back to 16 bit?
