Upgrade to 2003 from 2002. Problems?

P

Paul Fenton

I'm currently using FP 02 to administer several webs that are on the
same server, which only has 2000 extensions. I'm considering
upgrading to FP 03, but have heard the '03 no longer uses/requires
extensions. So I have some questions.

1. Does '03 require extensions? If so, then I should find a hosting
service that provides them. If not, any problems staying with this
host and his '00 extensions?

2. What are Sharepoint Services and how would I learn more about
that?

3. Will I run into any compatability issues between '00 and '03 with
respect to the add-in J-Bots? (I'm thinking I'll have to upgrade
J-Bots)

Thanks

FP2003 support the features that FP2000 and FP2002 offered that requires the FP extensions.

SharePoint Services is only available if you are hosted on Windows 2003 server and has SharePoint
Services installed.

You need to contact Webs Unlimited regarding any questions or issues with your version of J-Bots or
check their site to see if you need to upgrade.
