I sure the answer is no, but I have to ask.

I have a server 2000 that is being used as a workstation. It has a number of
programs installed on it that it would be hard for me to re-install.
Is there a way that I could upgrade/install XP Pro on it? I do not need the
Server functionality.
Any thoughts?

Hello To Old To . . .,

You can't upgrade a server operating system with a workstation operating
system. Maybe with a lot of trying it is possible, but i don't think it is
a good solution. You have to reinstall from scratch.
