upgrade hardware

Hi guys;
I am trying to upgrade my computer hardware(mother board
and CPOU )from P4 system board and Intel 1.5Ghz CPU to a
different brand of system board (Asus P4533) and Inel 2.8
GHz CPU.Operating system will stay the same (Windows 2000
pro).

My main goal is not to loose the configurations and data.

I realy appreaciate if some knows how to do this and let
me know the stpes.
