Upgrade from XP to Windows 2000 Professional

I have upgraded from Windows ME to XP, Now I would like
to upgrade to Windows 2000 Professional to stop all of
the Spam.

Can I upgrade my XP to Windows 2000 Professional.

No. That's a downgrade and can't be done. If you want W2k you must do a
clean install. NB: DO NOT try to upgrade to W2k from ME.

Windows 2000 doesn't have anything special to deal with spam. Been using it since May '99 and wish it did. Stick with XP.

Also the e-mail you receive would have nothing to do with the installed

Of course you can. I wish to do the same thing. You

could always fdisk, format and partition and put your win
2000 pro disk in and do it that way. I am waiting for a
reply to see if someone can tell me if I can do it over
(replacing) windows xp pro Without losing any data.
