Upgrade from Version 1.0 to Version 1.1 of NET Framework

I currently have NET Framework ver 1.0 on my Dell Dimension 8200 computer
with windows XP Prof. I would like to upgrade to version 1.1. Someone on
another newsgroup mentioned that a NET Framework ver 1.1 install program was
on the windows XP SP2 CD. I looked over the files on this CD files, did not
see any file that appears to be the applicable install file. Any help would
be very much appreciated in this matter. I should note that I use a dialup
connection to the internet and would like to avoid an internet download.

Hi

You should see a folder named Dotnetfx on the CD.

Run Dotnetfx\setup.exe to start the installation of NET Framework
ver 1.1.
