Upgrade error

When attempting to download updates from the Microsoft
website we were told to restart the computer so that the
updates would finish installing. When restarting the
computer we found that it would not restart/open back up.
After several attempts it finally did open back up but in
safe mode and we can still not get it out of safe mode.
Any advice? Thanks.

Put your operating system cd in and run the repair.
