When trying to slipstream XP Pro from XP home I receive a error message
saying that Norton Go Back is incompatible and that it must be removed. Well
you can't just remove that component, you must remove the whole program.
Further more I have that program on other machines with no problems.?

I had to slipstream due to the fact that new computer had a newer version of
Windows XP home than the XP Pro program that I was migrating from on the old
computer system. I actually ran into problems with the install of Norton
System Works 06 after orginally installing it the first time after upgrading
to XP Pro. I then decided to go back to the original version (XP home) and do
the install, which worked but now get this install error when trying to
upgrade after the install of Norton System Works, any ideas?

I would suggest you get rid of the Norton/Symantec products.
