updating from sp1 to sp2

I recently had to do a reinstall of xp. After the reinstall was complete I
tried to let Automatic updates install all the updates I needed, but no
updates show up for download. I check in the properties for My Computer and
it says that I have sp1. How do I get all the updates that I need without
using Windows Update? I can't find sp2 for download on the microsoft site.

Well it's there. Here is the link for the download of the stand alone
version. Disregard the title, it applies to any workstation.

Download Windows Service Pack 2 Standalone Version

Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD

HOW TO Download Windows Updates and Drivers from the Windows Update Catalog

You might want to post to the Windows Update newsgroup for help with why no
updates are shown.

If for some reason your update from SP1 to SP2 does not work or the
downloading of all the criticals released since SP2, 60-70, then ask for
help in the windowsupdate group.
I hate to mention this, but there have been a few problems with both.
Good luck.
