Alright, I have looked over the forums for a while and I haven't really
seen anyone ask this specific question (yes, I am sure someone has, but
I haven't seen it). I am using Office 2003 Pro. Here is the
situation:

1) I created several charts in excel
2) I then pasted them into PPT and reformatted them (custom
animations, resize, etc.)
3) The charts all reference the same workshee in excel.
4) I want the charts to auto update without having to go back and
paste them back in again because then I'd have to do all the custom
animations and reforamatting.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

THANKS!!! Branden

Instead of pasting them into PP, use Edit | Paste Special... | Paste
link option.

Tushar,
Like I said above, I know that I could do that way, but doing so will
remove all my formatting and custom animations. Is there anyway to do
this without having to paste it in again? Thanks!~

I don't think you'll be able to auto update your existing charts, as there's
no link from them to the original data.

Of course, Tushar's suggestion would mean that you only have to reformat the
charts this one time in Excel -- after that you wouldn't have to do it
again. :-)
