Updates wont install

Hi

HAving heard about the vista performance and reliability updates (KB938194
and KB938979) i decided to go and downlaod them . However, now i am getting
the message (The update does not apply to your system). I have downloaded the
x64 versions (as im on ultimate x64) and have not got them installed, ive
checked. Any suggestions? Can i install it manually?

It' the same like me! I've Vista HP 32. I downloaded correctly the version
x86 but the Update stops with the same message "The update does not apply to
your system".

Who can help??

when my updateing stoped working..it took me two days.but i found that if you
go and down load the updater software starter manually..it fixes the
problem..may not fix yours but its worth a try..

Hi. Im not entirely sure what you mean... Can you link it to me?
My problem is not windows update not finding the file, as it isnt on windows
update yet, so i downloaded the kb files myself but just give me the message
in the first post.

Hi, I've got the same problem in that kb938979 won't install and I get > > >

several
problems that this is supposed to fix. Any help from usoft here?

Any solutions yet. Fresh install today. Explorer keeps crashing and
recommends this patch. Wont install though.
