updates not loading

I have been trying without any success to install all of
the latest critical updates but these four will not load.
Does anyone know why?

Security Update for Windows XP (KB841873)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB839643)
Security Update for Windows XP (KB839645)

This might be a pain but try it..im assumeing your
downloading all of those at one time? If you are then
download the oldest patch first and see if it takes..if
not, then right click on you IE icon, click on
properties..click on settings, click on view objects..then
delete class update for microsoft updates..this will
reinstall the active x script used to install windows
updates..reboot then try again..if it still dosent work
please tell us..or heck, tell us it does..

1) first of all verify that you have service pack 1 installed on your system
2) 4 updates may not be installing because the services on which they depend may not be started .
3) one update stands for directplay which requires directx 9.0, 9.0a, 9.0b atleast
