Guys why in the world has microsoft chosen to install updated and reboot
your pc eventhough you don't ok it? I have lost work twice betcause its
decided that it needed to reboot my pc eventhough i wasn't at my machine. I
can't imagine why those choose to do this. Im fine if the updates download
and install without first asking me but they should not reboot your pc EVER
unless you say its ok for the update to reboot. I lost some source code i
was working on eventhough i told visual studio 2005 to autosave ever 5
minutes. I am pretty frustrated at this point.

Who knows why they would do this except that they think they are helping you
by doing this. To fix the problem go to Windows Security Center in Control
Panel and then Automatic Updates and instead check 'Download updates for me,
but let me choose when to install them'

So set your machine to either download but not install the updates or
to just notify you when updates are available but not download or
install them.

Hint :- Settings-Control Panel-Security Center-Manage security
settings for....Automatic Update-select the radio button that suits
your needs.
