updates and patches

I downloaded some "Hotfix" items and now I cannot receive
e-mail attachements that I would normally get and I this
these attachements. If I delete the "Hotfix" will it
mess up my computer. I know very little about this and
need HELP.

If you are using Outlook Express to read your mail, go to Tools > Options >
and selelect Security tab. Uncheck the box that says "Do not allow
attachments to be saved......."
