I have over 500 mb of updates and service paks and
hotfixes on my computer. Are all of these nessessary?
Are your updates supposs to delete the folders and files
that it replaces?
I think this is alot of disk space to be used by an
operating system. and this is just the updates!! Which
ones can I delete?

Thanks
Barry

I should have mentioned that they are all listed in the
add remove programs. I will check out the web site.
Thanks for the help.

What you're seeing are the backup files that would be used if you needed to
uninstall a particular "hotfix". If your system is stable, and you don't
need to remove any of the hotfixes, you can remove these folders and their
associated Add/Remove Programs entries. See
www.dougknox.com, Win XP
