Hello,

I use Macromedia dreamweaver 2004 to make my web site. I recently made some
updates to my home page. After uploading to my web server everything seemed
fine. When I use the same computer and open IE and goto my home page my
updates do not display. I have tried clearing all temp internet files and all
that stuff you do but nothing seems to work. HELP!!!

Have you tried accessing the page from a different computer?

Yup every other computer other then mine shows everything I've done with the
web page except the computer I'm actually using to manage my page! = (

I assume you also cleared the cache?

Other possibility: Do you have something on you dev machine rediredted to a
test site/directory on your PC that you have not changed? Try disconnecting
from the internet and trying to view your site, if it shows, then you are
looking at something locally.

Hope this helps

Cleared all cache. I did not set up a test server, when I make a change to my
site locally it's uploaded directly to my web server. No testing.

Ok, but what happens when you try to access the site with no internet
connection?

Dreamweaver is not a product I know but its not outside the bounds of
possibility that is installs a little web server to help you view results
while developing.

Just a guess and worth a try. Its got to be something specific to that PC.

Also have you looked at the HOSTS file for any internal redirection
(can be found in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc) and it functions like a
local DNS and is checked first by all inet accesses. There might be
something like 127.0.0.1 www.yoursite.com which would be sending all
accesses for yoursite to a server on your local machine (127.0.0.1 is
localhost)
