user's heart and operating system. VUPlayer is one of such compact yet
perfectly usable players.
VUPlayer is a free media player that supports the following file
formats: MOD, S3M, XM, IT, MP3, OGG, and WAV. The full version, whose
setup file is some four times larger that the standard version, also
supports the WMA file format. Just as almost any other player, it
supports Winamp playlists (the de-facto industry standard) as well as
its own playlist format.
The interface of the program is straight-forward and easy to use. The
volume controls, meters and the playlist can be toggled to be seen or
hidden. The player also lets you fully manage your tracks via the
right-click menu of its tray icon. One of the minor yet worth
mentioning features is terminating playback at a specified time.

Nice player indeed, but it lacks a bit in the streaming support area
compated to my favorite player XMPlay: It does not show the current song
played and which station you are listening to. VUPlayer only shows the URL.
