Update shield in systray

Recently the update icon has been appearing at startup but then disappearing
a few seconds later. Should I try to open it before it vanishes? I haven't
had an update since KB900485 on 25 April.

I wonder Check and see if somehow you are now set to
automatically install. It happened to me; my choice of "ask to
install" was changed somehow.

Hi James - updates are set to notify, not automatic install. The icon
didn't appear at next startup so its just a ghost I'm not going to worry
about.
