Hi,

Is there a known issue on auto-update scheduler?
On another post (...spyware.annoucements) it's told there is a new definiton
set. In setup I chosed to update every day at 11-AM. It's now quarter past
12 and it doesn't appear in main MSAS windows, and nothing recorded in the
firewall log.

I was too much impatient. Update occured at 14:33 (all "big" files except
one named gcAgents Data.gcd which timestamp is still my last update time).
On the main windows this update is allways said to be 5701

New updates definitions are # 5703.

I know but, after update, they appear as 5701 with the new date. In a ß, you
need to be exact on info you give or it's no use for developpers.
(I ommit build 509 in my meesage). I think that, in fact, I got the new defs
but a bug somewhere prevent MSAS to report correctly this version.

I configured the auto updater to run on system startup
but the setup, once saved, disapears the next time I
start the anti-spyware. I have to update manually.

I tried different update setups without success.

Give this a try:
Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.
