update says it

cannot find my internet connection even though i'm online,
so it aborts the update.

Any suggestions?

Try this:

Open Internet Explorer, click File and ensure that Work
Offline is not checked.

I am having this same issue. Fresh install on a known
clean laptop. When trying to update, says no internet
connection available. No errors. Work offline is not
checked and all internet functions seem to work
correctly. I have installed the beta on numerous systems
and this is the firt time i have seen this error. Of
course it has to be my personal laptop..!

This issue can be intermittent.

It can (apparently) relate to server issues.

It can go away over time with no known reason.
