I have Office 2007 and I installed the Office 2003 proofing tools to correct
the OE spelling problem. Now I am being continuously notified about the
Outlook 2003 junk filter update. I have been to Windows Update three or four
times, unselected it, opened the update notification in the systray every
ten minutes or so, and unselected, and checked "Do not notify me of this
update again" many many times and it STILL re-appears. Is there a registry
key I can edit so I don't get this notification?

The Junk E-mail filter gets updated many many times so you get a new
notification each time. There is no way around this.

Each Junk Mail Filter Update is a new one so "hiding" the current one
doesn't stop new ones from being offered.

Suggest changing your default from Microsoft Update to Windows Update and
then checking in at Office Update website to keep Office updated manually.

Go to Microsoft Update > Click on Change Settings in left pane > Scroll to
bottom of page > To Stop Using Microsoft Update > Disable Microsoft Update
software and let me use Windows Update only (check).
