Update Query.

Hi,

I have created an update query which updates a table.

I've created a few fields within this table however when I run the
query it deletes these fields.

Is there anyway to protect these from being deleted everytime the
update query is run ?

Sounds like you have a Make-Table query, not an update query. An update
query cannot delete fields.

Or do you mean that the *data* in the fields is being deleted? In that
case the update query would have to be explicitly setting them to Null.
You would just remove those fields from the grid and the query would not
affect them.
