I purchased an HP PPC 2003 that included Outlook 2002 (SP-1) on the CD. How
do I upgrade Outlook 2002 to SP-2 without having Office XP installed?
Searching the websites, all updates to Outlook 2002 seem to all point to
Office XP. I don't have Office XP.

I wouldn't update it with Office XP. Ususally, you have
to have the .msi file from Office XP when you update and
if you don't have that on your computer, your Outlook
won't work. Have you tried letting MS support page scan
and offer updates?

The Outlook that came with my PPC does work without Office isntalled.

The update wizard worked even though Office is not installed. I had
downloaded the Office XP SP2 update and tried running that and it didn't
work because Office wasn't installed. The Office update wizard said it was
going to install Office XP SP1 and I assumed it wasn't going to work. I was
wrong. It worked and then I installed SP2 via the wizard.

Thanks.
