My small company is using Office 2002 on a Dell Windows XP. My boss
recently purchased a standalone version of Outlook 2007. Can I install
Outlook 2007 with Office 2002?

Thanks for you help!

Shouldn't be any problem - just be aware that you will NOT be able to use
Word as the email editor....

uninstall outlook 2002 first (use custom option in add/remove programs) and
it should be fine - you will lose word as your editor and spell check as you
type.

You will also lose the ability to send to from Office applications as well as Mail Merge.

I thought the "Send to" function used whatever the default email client
was.....
