Update on Canon Rebate status/ printer

ANOTHER 6 to 8 WEEKS!!!!!!!

That's they told me.

It took me a long time to finally get a contact number,
and for all you people with late, missing canon rebates, here it is:

888.864.6781

They have to redo the whole rebate all over, get your serial number (it's
behind the ink cartridges on the back of the printer (iP3000) and then make
you wait 6-8 weeks AGAIN!

Their excuse? Didn't have a suite, unit or apartment number. I have the
copy of the rebate form in front of me and I used those address stickers
which has everything.

Obviously they try to **** you out of your rebates by making it so hard to
get ahold of them.
3 emails, not one response.

Next time read the instructions i.e.

quote
All required information on the claim form must be hand printed; no
mechanical reproductions or labels will be accepted.

I bought two ip4000 printers from Newegg in March and recieved both rebates
in about 10 weeks
Obviously they try to **** you out of your rebates by making it so hard to
get ahold of them.

Mostly, though, they do it by making ridiculous requirements when
submitting them.

I do that on every rebate form I've ever done and had no problem.

I finally talked to a live person and she said she didn't have the suite
number on her form. And that's why I didn't get it.

She lies.

I know becuase I'm friends with my mailman and he knows my several
identities and just stuffs my mailbox whenever he sees the suite number, no
matter what strange name is on the envelope. He would have put it into my
mailbox even with no suit number, becuase I used a very distinctive strange
false name for rebates.
(That way I can find out who sells my name to spammers and never do
business with them before, when they lie on their web-security agreement)

I finally got the rebate, 2 months late. That was a lot of ****ing work
for $20, but after awhile it's a matter of principle.

Still haven't had any reply to my 3 emails to their "rebate support
dept"....
Probably a room full of Argentinian crack whores on death row in Brazil,
chained to a desk and made to answer emails before they're hung.
