Update of AVG Scanning Engine (V.323) crashes the PC

When I download the recommend update of the AVG Scanning engine (version
323), the download is made, but when the update proccess begins the
result is a PC crash with the following information:
The typical blue background and white letters screen of a hardware or
software problem:
***STOP: 0X000000C4 (0X00000060,0X0000F620,0X00000000,0X00000008)
I'm using the program 7.0322 version 267.9.2/53.

Oh s**t, it already started.

I don't understand your whining. There are several free antivirus
programs mentioned in this newsgroup almost daily. If one of them
isn't working for you, why not try one of the others?

It is a bug that has been fixed-download the latest-all will be well
