Some highlights of the new version:
*Quicktime Support - Quicktime 4 or greater must be installed

What does ME share with 2000/XP that would make a program
compatible with those three, but not with 98SE?

There are certain Win API differences between ME and 98. I will
eventually bring back 98 compatibility but unfortunately that will have
to wait until I've added a few more features that I've been itching to
add.
