Firefox 1.0.4 is now available. It hasn't been announced on the
mozilla.org pages yet, probably to give time for it to propagate to all
the mirror sites. Only the English-US version is available yet.

Thanks. :)

I note this is the full-release package... what would happen if
I used a freeware patch generator to compare the v1.0.3 exe with
the v1.0.4 exe to create a small patcher? Would that work?

Thanks Q. This is what I was having problems with!
The feeds I should have known about, so that allows
me to give myself the RTFM award.

I think that is pretty much the full installer, just packaged as an XPI
file. It's only smaller than the full EXE installer by 8 kb.

i kinda prefer having a full installer over a bunch of small patch
files. why? i can burn the latest onto a cd and keep it around for a day
when the computer goes bad and i dont have a net connection...

Is it? Did not look at the installer as I saw the update directory and
went down that path straight away...

Well I did find a setup.exe for Firefox on my desktop, probably the
xpi is only a wrapping in this case,
