Publisher's Description

Fasterfox - Performance and network tweaks for Firefox. Fasterfox
allows you to tweak many network and rendering settings such as
simultaneous connections, pipelining, cache, DNS cache, and initial
paint delay.

Dynamic speed increases can be obtained with the unique prefetching
mechanism, which recycles idle bandwidth by silently loading and
caching all of the links on the page you are browsing. A popup blocker
for popups initiated by Flash plug-ins is also included.

if you want to install it, just drag it onto a Firefox window.

Thanks. You saved me from having to ask a stupid question. I feel a
tad less stupid now. :)

Another way to install an extension that you've saved to your hard drive
is to click on "File", "Open File...", navigate to where you've saved
the file on your hard drive, select it and then click on "Open". The
installation process will then begin.

I tend to use this method because I loath using a mouse.

But I count two times the word 'click' in your post.......
Wouldn't just one click and drag be more efficient ?

My description of the process was for others. Thanks for catching that.
And just for the record, I use this method:

1. Alt-F
2. "o"
3. etc.

Thanks for clearing that up, btw, I prefer being a smartazz over being a
dumbazz ;)

OT:

This might interest you: I received my shipment of 5 Ubuntu-double-cd's
today (free of charge, even when I'm located in Europe, big thumbs up).
Live-cd and installation-cd are included.
I must say, I'm very impressed so far.
