update download problems

Unable to download any windows XP downloads from update
site. Have tried numerous times last night. Have never
had a problem before. No guidence on web page on what to
do if install fails. Thanks

I just had an issue with the update site - it gives an
error instead of letting you scan for downloads.
What I did was -
go to Tools - Internet Options.
Delete Files button - delete all offline content. OK
Then closed IE and reopened. Then I was good to go.
