Update and Fill Links

I have a worksheet that needs to pull info each month from another new
worksheet. Is there an easy way of doing a copy & fill from cell A1 through
A31 in the first worksheet linking to the other worksheet cells A8 through
AE8?
Thanks for any help you can offer.
 
Entered in sheet1 A1 and copied down to A31

=INDEX(newsheet!$8:$8,ROWS($8:8))

Where newsheet is the name of the new worksheet.
