Update after OEM installation before sysprep

We are an OEM that builds custom computers. We have images we can install
with all updates applied prior to the image date. We want to apply all new
updates to our systems before we deliver them. We run the Sysprep tool prior
to delivery so we do not Activate the systems.

Windows Update now requires running the Validation tool prior to updating
the system. The tool will not run on a system that has not been activated.

How can we get around this so our customers get a system that is fully
updated?

In addition to my other comment in one of the other newsgroups you
multi-posted this in..

You could also download all of the updates and install them from a script.
60+ right now afgter SP2.

You should try cross-posting in the future - you end up getting better
threads. (If you actually feel your post belongs in more than one group,
that is.)
