Thank you, Demetris.

For those interested, the two little bugs were:
File names with some special characters like "_" or "-" were not properly

Directory Lister is a shareware application. You can try it for 30 days, and
after that time you are expected to register it. A single license costs $20,
additional licenses costs less per copy. However, if you want to use this
application at home on your personal computer solely for non-commercial use
then you can do it free-of-charge. A commercial use here is anything related
to your professional life, even if you want to do it at home.

Not quite freeware. regards, He2

The key words are:

"if you want to use this application at home on your personal
computer solely for "-non-commercial-" use then you can do it
free-of-charge"

e.g., it is free for the home user and/or a personal computer!

Would you want to give away your hard work to some coporation that can
damn well afford to purchase it? Next time you go to work tell your
boss you work for free!

But some software for Windows is completely free, without any usage
restrictions. And, of course, Linux is completely free. regards, He2
