Unzipping files

I have windows XP Pro Media Center. I was about to
download an unzipping file off the internet but was
informed by someone on cnet.com that XP already had an
unzipping program as part of the operating system. Is
that true and if so how do I access.

Also if I do have to download an unzipping program what
is recommended with reference to a safe stable program.

Xp has built in zip capabilities. Left or right click on a zip file to
either view the contents and/or extract the contents.
