Some time ago I entered a website which has attached a
toolbar to my toolbar menu in IE called 'Iznnoagrist'.
This toolbar which provides links to other websites based
on the website I am my viewing is displayed when I first
load up IE. I can de-selecet the toolbar but the moment I
then open a new page it comes back. This even happens
when I lock the toolbars. Very annoying.
This toolbar seems to be activated by IE first accessing
the website using Passthrough. The home page is defaulted
as follows:
http://tjgo.com/passthrough/index.html?
http://www.xxxxxxx.com. When I replace this homepage it
will appear next time I use IE.
How can i get rid of this? Note it doesn't happen with
Netscape
Thanks
Rich

Rich - Did you try running msconfig to remove anything
loading at startup? If that doesn;t work uninstall IE and
download the latest IE6 with security patch 1; it may
avaoid future hijacks.

You can remove this by downloading a program called
Adaware. You find it by searching for "lavasoft" at
download.com. AdAware finds spyware on your computer,
shows you what and where they are, and lets you delete
them. Another excellent program is SpyBot, which can
also be found at download.com. Make sure you check for
updates to the program before running the search.

Hope that helps,

Ben
