Unwanted tool bar

I downloaded a program and it gave me a toolbar I do not want. Can someone
tell me how to get rid of it please?

Not unless you tell us what program, what toobar, etc.

Where do you see this toolbar?
If it's in IE, click Tools | Manage Add-ons.
Also, Look in Control Panel | Add or Remove Programs
