Unwanted search hyperlinks

Michael E

For some reason, I find that when I open web pages
random "key" words are being higlighted as links to other
pages.

In every case, when you float the cursor over the word the
status bar shows "goto:xxxxxx" xxx being the keyword.

Following the link takes you to the page:
http://www.runsearch.com/top/go.php?qq=travel
In this case the highlighted/keyword word was "travel"

These links have been forced into the page when I download
them, but by who/what?? Did MS secretly slip in the
function as part of an IE update?

I have scanned my PC for tojans, using ad-aware and spybot
but nothing.

Any ideas please?
