Underlined keywords in IE browser and other problems

Sophia

Hello,
I have IE 6.0.

I have two problems.

1. I suddenly started getting some keyword words displayed
on a webpage underlined in light brown, it is not a
regular link, but underline. These are "keyword" words
like travel, insurance. If you position your cursor there,
it shows some airline booking or insurance related
website. How can I get rid of it?

2. We have google toolbar with popups blocker, not sure if
this is related, but many websites even if I enable popup,
IE browser cannot bring up. The status bar shows URL's I
am clicking and then shows done but page is not displayed.
After that, I cannot click on any link, the page seems to
be frozen.

Any help will be appreciated.

Did you ever get a response to this?

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
