Unwanted screen

Using Windows XP Pro. Each time I turn on my computer, the whole screen is
covered with an ASUS K8S MK Motherboard screen which remains for a few
seconds, after that screen disapear, Iget pop-up message "Found New Hardware.
Idon't recall ever requesting anything from ASUS and cannot delete the
screen. Ihave right clicked on My Computer, Properties, Hardware,Device
Manager, and in the list, Other Devicec and Raid Controller have yellow
question marksm Iright click on them and click on delete, but to no avail.
Will someone please advise me as to how to get rid of the screen and the
found new hardware message, Thanks in advance. Natlo.

you have a command (sometimes F2 button) you can hold down during boot which puts you into the BIOS setup screens. Search the options to turn off what you describe.
