Unwanted Privileges

I have a fresh reloaded Windows 2000 machine...whenever I
create new users, they can access the administrator
folder. For example...I right click on My Computer, go to
manage, create a new local user with the default
restricted privileges. When I log on to that account, I
am able to open the administrator folder under documents
and settings. I would expect it to say "access denied." I
have check and double check that the account does not have
any administrative privileges and it does not seem to have
any. I have already running NTFS, I have tried using a
user on our domain and I've created a user before even
joining the domain. This has actually happened on several
machines so I am quite stumped. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hello MW,

Where these machines built from an image or straight from the Win2K CD?
What you are seeing is not normal behavior.
The profile directories should have permissions for the user who owns the
profile...and system should have full control as well.
You can use the following command line to reset the permissions on the OS
back to the defaults of a fresh OS install.
"secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb
/verbose"

Thanks
