I suspect I have a virus, as the pictures are there again
after I have deleted them. I discovered them when I
opened an attachment sent from a friend, who is also
unaware of this. I hate the way these people shove porn
down everyones throats with no regard as to who
(children) may be viewing the picture gallery, which used
to have pictures of butterflies in it - replaced with
filth. I am not very computer-savvy, making me an easy
mark for these low-lives. Anyone know of any free virus-
purging software I can download for this particular
problem?
ciao, Siobhan

A pretty decent free virus scanner called AVG Virus
Scanner can be found at http://www.grisoft.com

Remember, your virus scanner only protects you if you
keep it updated and scan regularly. :)

A clearer description of exactly what is happening would help.
First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
