Unwanted popup

Somehow I got an unwanted popup downloaded onto my system. It has an icon
that resides in the system tray and I can't get rid of it. It pops up a
message that say "System Alert" and warns me that I have active spyware and
prompts me to download anti-spyware software from "Spylock". The icon for it
is the first one that loads in the tray and I can't stop it. I can't locate
it with Task Manager nor do I get any hits when I scan the registry. Can any
offer some advice?

Perform Part 1 then perform Part 2.

It is suggested that you execute each tool in Normal Mode then in Safe Mode.
